Rapids representing BC
These hard working athletes represented all three of our Comox Valley High Schools and continue to make us proud on and off the field.
We are so proud of these amazing athletes for being chosen to represent their province at the first Canadian Western Championships since 2019 on July 28-31. These athletes faced off against Alberta, Sask./Manitoba and Washington Loggers. All three of these teams took gold by a landslide stacking points on their opponents while allowing very few trys against. All of this in the non stop stifling heat of the Okanagan!
Rapids athletes chosen:
Madison Hamilton and Shayla Stigant- U16 Girls
Emma Grootendorst, Olivia Jean and Jessica Postle - U18 Girls Emmett Allan - U18 Boys.
Not to forget the 'up and comers' U14 athletes chosen to represent BC at UBC July 14-17th.

Rapids Rugby is a grassroots community based youth rugby league for athletes ages 4-18 years. Our goal is to provide a high quality rugby environment in order to give all players every opportunity to enjoy the game of rugby and reach their maximum potential as athletes.
