Comox Valley Rapids Rugby U16 and U18 Girls Claim Provincial Championships
The U16 team produced a fantastic performance to stun their mainland rivals Abbotsford. Building on a 14-7 half-time lead they scored a flurry of 2nd half tries to finish an intense and thrilling final with a 29-7 final score.
The U18 team followed with a down to the wire, tenacious performance. Abbotsford took a two try lead by the half but Rapids showed determination in their second half comeback with 2 tries and a conversion to win it in the final minutes of the game.
